Apparel Merchandising & Product Development

The Apparel Merchandising and Product Development (AMPD) concentration in the School of Human Environmental Sciences provides opportunities for advanced study of learning both theoretical knowledge and applications in textiles, apparel production, and merchandising. Students are prepared for a career in both academia and the apparel industry with outstanding competencies in quality assurance, product development, retail buying, merchandising, store operations, and brand management. The faculty bring expertise in the areas mentioned above within the textile and apparel complex. .
