Apparel Merchandising and Product Development Student Organization
The Apparel Merchandising and Product Development Student Association is located in the School of Human Environmental Sciences at the University of Arkansas. We are open to all Apparel Merchandising and Product Development majors and anyone who is interested in fashion.
We explore the world of fashion mainly through guest speakers and even special trips. Speakers that came to meetings last year included local business owners and trend forecasters for Wal-Mart. We also have the Senior Apparel Merchandising and Product Development majors share their internship experiences with the club every year. In addition to the speakers, we attend the Dallas Career Day every year and the club sponsors a clothing drive at the close of the spring semester.
The club is a great opportunity to network in the fashion world. Not only can you meet industry professionals but you can also get to know your fellow apparel classmates. We enjoy lots of fun, food, and fashion excitement together.
