Enclothe Fashion Show
Garments created by students were the star of the show, but Enclothe: Embody also allowed guests to see the business, sustainability and merchandising aspects of what students learn while designing garments
Enclothe was held March 31, 2022, at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.
Shipley Lecture & Workshop
Defending Childhood, the inaugural Janis Hawkins Shipley Early Childhood Lecture and Workshop, took place March 31 to April 1, 2022 at the Jean Tyson Child Development Study Center in Fayetteville. Early childhood professionals enjoyed the reflective presentation and interactive style of the workshop, and were asked to participate in experiences from a child’s perspective.
SMASH
Students Mastering the Art of Southern Hospitality (SMASH) is an annual student-run event for networking and fundraising for the hospitality program at the University of Arkansas. This 2022 event, SMASH Boardwalk Bash, took place on April 9, 2022, in the Arkansas Union Verizon Ballroom.
