What can you do?
HESC and the U of A have resources for students, faculty and staff to expand their DEI knowledge and cultural competency, and get involved with initiatives on campus.
Whether it be part of your degree plan or the desire to expand your knowledge in these areas, HESC offers courses open to students across campus in cultural competence, perspectives, family studies and more.
Research and Outreach
Faculty and students in HESC are conducting research in DEI disciplines, and we also have service-learning experiences and courses available.
As part of a campus-wide effort to meet the eight DEI guiding priorities set by the chancellor, HESC has developed a comprehensive strategic plan to continue to meet our diversity, equity and inclusion goals.
