Mechelle Bailey, MS, RDN, LDN is a clinical instructor in the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences at the University of Arkansas.  She earned her BS from the University of Arkansas (major: Dietetics).  She completed her Dietetic Internship and Residency Program and Master of Science Degree in Nutrition through the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences in Memphis.  In her 27 year career as a clinical dietitian, she worked primarily in pediatric nutrition focusing on children with special health care needs, metabolic/genetics needs and neonatal intensive care units.  In 2012, she accepted a position as a clinical instructor and is responsible for both teaching and advising of students in the nutrition and dietetics and the general foods and human nutrition concentrations.
